Refund Policy

1. 14-Day Money-Back Guarantee

We want you to be happy with PixBack. If you're not satisfied for any reason, you can request a full refund within 14 calendar days of your original purchase transaction — no explanation required.

  • The 14-day window runs from the exact timestamp of your purchase.
  • Requests submitted after day 14 are not eligible under this change-of-mind guarantee (see Section 3 for exceptions that are not time-limited).
  • To receive your refund, please uninstall PixBack and delete any local copies once your refund is approved.

2. How Refunds Are Processed

PixBack is sold through Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record and payment provider. Paddle is the entity you purchased from, and Paddle handles the actual refund transaction on our behalf, consistent with their own Buyer Terms and Refund Policy.

To request a refund:

  1. Contact Paddle's Order Support at paddle.net, or email us at support@getpixback.com and we'll help route your request.
  2. Include your order number, the email address used at checkout, and (if applicable) your license key.
  3. Approved refunds are typically returned to your original payment method within a few business days of approval.

3. Your Statutory Rights (Not Limited to 14 Days)

This policy is designed to work alongside — never instead of — your local consumer protection law. Nothing here limits any non-waivable right you have under the law of your country of residence.

  • European Union & United Kingdom: The 14-day guarantee above satisfies your statutory right of withdrawal for digital content under the EU Consumer Rights Directive and the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations. Separately, if PixBack is faulty, materially different from its description, or not fit for purpose, your rights under the EU's legal guarantee of conformity (or the UK equivalent) are unaffected by the 14-day window.
  • Australia: Under the Australian Consumer Law, you're entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement if PixBack suffers a Major Failure — meaning it's fundamentally broken, significantly different from how it was described, or unfit for its intended purpose. This guarantee applies regardless of how much time has passed and cannot be limited by this policy.
  • Canada: Provincial consumer protection legislation (e.g., implied warranties of fitness and merchantability) continues to apply in full. The 14-day window in Section 1 governs change-of-mind requests only.
  • United States and other jurisdictions: Where local law provides additional or different consumer remedies, those remedies apply in addition to, not instead of, this policy.

If you believe PixBack has a defect that a Major Failure or statutory guarantee would cover, contact us directly at support@getpixback.com with a description of the issue — we'll work with you to resolve it, and a refund will be issued if the problem can't be fixed.

4. What This Policy Does Not Cover

  • Refund requests made after 14 days for reasons unrelated to a defect, major failure, or statutory guarantee (see Section 3 for exceptions).
  • Requests where there's evidence of license misuse, abuse of the refund process, or fraud.
  • Any Paddle transaction fees that Paddle's own policies indicate are non-refundable.

5. License After a Refund

Once a refund is approved and processed, your PixBack license is deactivated and may no longer be used. You agree to uninstall the software and remove local copies. This does not affect any data you've already backed up to your own Google Photos account — that data remains yours and is unaffected by your PixBack license status.
